Taga Shrine

It is a shrine that brings blessings such as family safety, marital bliss, good luck, and protection from bad luck. Every New Year's Day, the shrine is filled with stalls and lively crowds of Hatsumode (New Year's visitors). The "Goshinko" designated as a prefectural intangible folk cultural property, is a traditional event with a history of more than 300 years, and was held in October 2022 for the first time in 30 years. The adjacent Taga Park with its lush greenery is a popular place for relaxation and recreation among the local people.
