Sasaguri Kyushu University Forest is located at the western edge of Kyushu University's Fukuoka Experiment Forest, and is jointly maintained and managed by Sasaguri Town and Kyushu University. There is a 2-kilometer promenade around Kamata Pond in the center of the forest. It has been certified as one of the forest therapy roads, and visitors can walk along it while feeling nature. Benches and azumaya (a kind of small wooden hut) along the path allow visitors to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
