Ushikubi Dam

Ushikubi Dam is a multi-purpose dam located in the upper reaches of the Ushikubi River. Surrounded by rich nature, visitors can enjoy fireflies and hydrangeas in summer and autumn leaves in fall. The nearby "Onojo Ikoinomori" (woods of relaxation) includes a campground for families and groups, a waterside park where visitors can enjoy playing with water in a small stream, a central park, and a sports park where baseball and soccer can be enjoyed.

By car, from Fukuoka City, take Prefectural Route 31 towards Tosu, turn right at the traffic light at the Kasuga Shrine entrance, and go straight. From Kyushu Expressway Chikushino IC, take Prefectural Route 31 toward Fukuoka for about 3 km, then turn left at Osano intersection to Prefectural Route 505, and at Ushikube intersection, drive about 3 km toward Ushikube Dam. Parking lot: 35 spaces *Dam Memorial Park (35 spaces), Ide No. 1/2 Park (40 spaces), Mizube Park (40 spaces)
