Kora-taisha Shrine is located on Mt. Kora at an altitude of 312 m. The deity is believed to protect people from bad luck, prolong life and longevity, ensure traffic safety, and bring good fortune and happiness to all aspects of their lives. This photo was taken on a June evening on the stairs from the parking lot to the shrine office. in August, the lanterns on both sides of the stone steps are lit for the dedication ceremony. The shrine pavilion is designated as a national important cultural property and is one of the largest shrine buildings in Kyushu.
