This beach is located near Tsuyazaki Senken, which prospered as a salt shipping port from the Edo period to the end of the Meiji period. In summer, the beach is a bustling bathing beach, and the beachfront still retains the atmosphere of the good old days, with guesthouses boasting seafood dishes and beach houses offering barbeques. If the conditions of "low tide, clear skies, and calm winds" are met, you can see "Kagami no Umi," a spectacular view where the wet sandy beach reflects the sky like a mirror.
3 minutes walk from Nishitetsu Bus "Tsuyazakihama" bus stop. Approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Fukuma Station on the JR Kagoshima Main Line. Approximately 15 minutes by car from Koga IC on the Kyushu Expressway. Parking lot: Approximately 15 spaces
