Ashiya Seaside Park

Located on the north side of town, this comprehensive park boasts a large lawn area and a great view of the Hibikinada Sea. The lawn square "Wanpark" is equipped with large combination playground equipment, benches, and tables. The park is also adjacent to the ocean, so visitors can play on the beach, and since the leisure pool is open, the park attracts many people in summer. From late October to mid-November every year, a sand sculpture event, "Ashiya Sand Sculpture Exhibition," is held.
